GSA Multiple Award Schedule Refresh #32: What Federal Contractors Need to Know

GSA is releasing MAS Refresh #32 this month, bringing several important changes that affect IT Schedule contractors. Key updates include new requirements around End-of-Support (EOS) products — meaning items with an EOS date within three years of the offer date may be flagged or disallowed on the Schedule — as well as updated Joint Venture rules stemming from a recent SBA rule change. Contractors should review the Mass Modification carefully before accepting, as changes extend beyond specific Large Categories and touch broader program compliance requirements. FedTek holds GSA Schedule 47QTCA18D000N and remains current with all MAS compliance obligations. Contact us if you have questions about ordering through our Schedule.

Federal IT Modernization in 2026: AI, Zero Trust, and the OneGov Strategy

IT modernization continues to be the federal government’s most consistent area of investment heading into the second half of FY2026. GSA’s OneGov Strategy is accelerating how agencies acquire IT tools and services, with a focus on reducing procurement lead times and closing compliance gaps through AI. At the same time, agencies are operationalizing Zero Trust architectures and treating post-quantum cryptography as a baseline security requirement — not a future priority. For agencies procuring server, storage, and data center infrastructure, these mandates translate directly into procurement decisions today. FedTek’s portfolio of HPE compute, storage, and networking solutions is aligned to these requirements. Reach out to discuss how we can support your agency’s modernization goals through our GSA, SEWP V, and ITES-4H contract vehicles.

The 2026 Federal Acquisition Overhaul: Speed, Security, and a “Zero Legacy” Push

The federal acquisition landscape is shifting in meaningful ways in 2026. Policy emphasis has moved away from rigid procedural compliance toward empowering contracting officers to move faster and accept calculated technology risks. The overarching goal is a “zero legacy” IT environment — replacing outdated, vulnerable systems with agile infrastructure that can operate at the pace of mission requirements. For vendors and integrators, this means security architecture, supply chain integrity, and demonstrated interoperability are now central evaluation factors — not differentiators. FedTek has supported federal IT modernization for nearly 30 years, with ISO 9001:2015 certification and established contract vehicles that make procurement straightforward. Contact us to learn how we can help your agency move forward.
